About the conference

A whole-child lens on autism, in two days

Cortica's Whole-Child Approach: A Caregiver Conference is a free, two-day virtual event for caregivers of autistic children and teens, led by Dr. Suzanne Goh and Cortica's clinical leadership team.

Across two days, you'll learn how to better understand and support your child through a whole-child lens. We'll explore autism as a neurological difference and look at why every autistic child has a unique combination of strengths, needs, and ways of experiencing the world.

What we'll cover

Three areas, side by side

Every session is built around things you can put to use the same week.

Area 01

Understanding your child

You'll learn about your child's sensory and motor needs, regulation, learning style, communication, social connection, and emotions, along with practical strategies for supporting each area.

Area 02

Everyday life at home

We'll explore everyday challenges and routines, including sleep, mealtimes, transitions, meltdowns, family well-being, mental health, and community participation.

Area 03

The systems around you

You'll gain tools for navigating school, insurance, therapies, and other systems, learn questions to ask when considering different supports and treatments, and explore ways to collaborate across your child's medical, school, and therapy teams.

Choose your own sessions

Live, small-group breakouts

Throughout the conference, you'll have opportunities to choose live, small-group sessions based on what matters most to your family.

Small-group sessions are live only and are not recorded.

What you'll leave with

Information you can actually use

Whether you're new to this journey or have years of experience with therapies, books, and conferences, the goal is to give you information you can actually use.

  • A clearer understanding of your child
  • Practical strategies for everyday life
  • Better questions to ask your care team
  • Connections with other caregivers
  • An action plan for what comes next

All presentations will be recorded and shared after the conference, so you can revisit the information later. Small-group sessions are live only.
